Big Sky Unitarian Universalists

We are a liberal, lay-led congregation in the state’s capital committed to a free and responsible search for truth and meaning.  We are a welcoming community of open-minded, spiritual people.

We worship in the sanctuary at Plymouth Congregational Church, 400 South Oaks Street in Helena, Montana. Worship services start at 11:30 AM, except for Dinner Church when we worship at 4:30 PM and stay for a potluck dinner. Childcare is available during services.

We hope you will join us for a service, either in person or via our YouTube channel

The first Sunday of the month is Small Group Ministry, available in-person at the church and for participants on Zoom, but not available on YouTube. For Small Group Ministry, we start together in the sanctuary then move into smaller conversational circles to share personal perspectives. To join Small Group Ministry on Zoom, email us at

Statement of Purpose

We unite in this fellowship to create and maintain a fellowship dedicated to freedom of religious thought, continuing search for truth, mutual respect for human relationships, and care and concern for our planet. As a free congregation, we covenant to affirm and promote the Seven Principles of Unitarian Universalism.
