Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 24, 2026

At Big Sky Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, we value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you visit our website, bigskyuu.org.

By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect several different types of information for various purposes to provide and improve our service to you.

• Personal Data: While using our Service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you (e.g., email address, name).

• Usage Data: We collect information on how the website is accessed and used. This may include your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit.

2. Use of Google Analytics & Tracking Technologies

We use Cookies and similar tracking technologies to track the activity on our service and hold certain information. Specifically, this website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC.

• Data Processing: Google Analytics uses cookies to collect and process data about your browsing behavior on our site. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

• Google Signals & Cross-Device Tracking: We have enabled Google Signals in Google Analytics. This feature associates the visitation information it collects from our site with Google information from accounts of signed-in users who have consented to this association for the purpose of ads personalization. This allows for cross-device reporting, cross-device remarketing, and cross-device advertising funnels.

• Data Sharing: This data may be shared with other Google services. Google may use the collected data to contextualize and personalize the ads of its own advertising network.

3. How to Opt-Out of Data Collection

We respect your privacy choices and provide ways for you to control your data.

• Google Analytics Opt-Out: You can opt-out of having your activity on our website made available to Google Analytics by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The add-on prevents the Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js, and gtag.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visits activity.

• Google Ads Settings: You can opt-out of Google's personalized advertising features by visiting Google's My Ad Center.

• Browser Settings: You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our website.

4. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
